The Gubernatorial aspirant of the National Rescue Movement, Mr Afamefuna Ezenwafor in the forth coming Anambra elections slated for November 6 2021, has reaffirmed his stand in the governorship race.
Mr Ezenwafor who declared intentions public during a media briefing in Awka, briefed Newsmen on aspirations as he joined in the race for the upcoming Anambra governorship, he said “my aspiration to become the next Chief Servant of Anambra State in the November polls ” as I decided to bounce back better and stronger under the platform of National Rescue Movement, (NRM).
Mr Afamefuna told newsmen to debunk the earlier rumors stating that he was never in the race as it was been peddled by the mischief makers , he stated that it will be a thing of shame for him to have collected money to step aside his ambitions, he went ahead to plead with Ndi Anambra to disregard such, as it was a target on his reputation and truncate his vision.
Mr Ezenwafor went further to declare it publicly to the people of the state that he has taken the mandate under his political party the National Rescue Movement (NRM).
As an advocate of the youth, he explained that he went ahead in the polls to rescue the state from imminent collapse, and believe it will reduce voter apathy, he charged the people of the state to vote one with track record, and character and with in the interest of the children future in mind.
In his words, he admonished the youths of the state and all electorate across the 21 LGA’s of state that time has come for the younger generation to participate in politics by performing the civic responsibility, and join the movement.
He encouraged all eligible voters in the state to ensure that they enroll in the on-going PVC’s exercise to obtain their voters card, as it’s the weapon for election.
Mr Afamefuna, thanked the leadership of the party which is be chaired by Senator Muhammed Dansadau, who believe in the ideology of Not Too Young To Run, for such a platform, and thanked the people of Ndi Anambra and residents as we head to the polls for greater Anambra.
