Story
The Frontman of the Governorship elections, in the forthcoming Anambra Governor elections, come November 6 2021, Mr Valentine Ozoigbo of the People Democratic Party (PDP) is sure of conquering victory at the polls across the 21 Local Government Area of the State.

Ozoigbo who communicated this during an interactive meeting with the men of the National Union Of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Chapter in Awka on Monday, also maintained that he never believes in Godfatherism as he is an independent candidate.

He further explained the leadership of the party have the right to suggest to him, but he said such suggestions being on their merit.

He debunked the rumours that his running-mate Mrs Azuka Enemo was imposed on him by the hierarchy of the party in the State.

Ozigbo further explained that the choice of his running-mate mate was based on integrity and large support for Hon Azuka Enemy. “The fact that I ran election primary for two years could’ve given me my choice of running mate, I didn’t decide on that after the primaries”.

While noting that he is not among the politicians that seek political powers with empty promises, accidentally.

” I was on the plane with Mr Peter Obi, and I told him that I will engage the leadership of Anglican Communion”.

“I turned down some list of people nominated, not because they weren’t good but there were certain criteria I insisted must be met”.

He appealed to the PDP members of the state, especially the Gubernatorial aspirant to remain committed to Party unity, to win the Anambra Guber elections and to make the party a mass movement of Ndi Anambra.

He also assured under his watch that victory is assured at the polls come November 6.
